Cheapest nivomat i found for premium zw7 smooth suspension. I have a stock 05 Suburban LS 1500, no mods. Some people on the forums had concerns about being able to zip them for installation. I bought mine "used" from Amazon at a discount as the packaging was damaged. Arrived fully unpacked. I put the Burb on racks and let the rear suspension hang. Someone at GM must have had home installers in mind, because the tail was hanging just low enough for the shock to fully extend on the car, but the tail wasn't hanging off the shock itself. It's a four-bolt thing, in and out. Take off the wheels. You shouldn't, but it's a pain in the ass if you don't. It took me an hour to install both. These are the cheapest dampeners I've found, even the regular price on Amazon. The handling is noticeably improved and much more solid. I'm glad I bought them. PS: If you've done a lot of research on this topic, you've found that there is a Bilstein conversion kit that removes the Nivomats and replaces them with stock dampers and heavier springs. I called Bilstein to get them because they were cheaper and the rep actually told me not to because I wouldn't be happy with the ride. I've seen other posts saying they're great. So for what it's worth I expect to stick with the developed Nivomats. You pay a little more, but it's an easy setup and a good ride. I also don't know how much the store will charge to install a Bilstein setup. All in all they seem like a decent set at the best price if you stick with the factory Nivomats.
