I have two of these. One is two years old, the other a few months old. They work the way they're supposed to. They support 1080p30 and 720p60 over HD-SDI and all other 3G settings. You need a regular 12V power supply. So when I lost mine, I easily found another one. They appear to be designed for studio use only, but I took them outside and ran them in less than ideal conditions with no issues. I heard that years ago a friend of mine had problems with one of these devices and needed to install a firmware update. I've never had a problem with mine.
