In general, the device is ambiguous, but cool. Most software runs without obvious problems, but there are also bugs. The main problem is the unpredictability of the performance level. Software can both fly and mercilessly blunt. For example, EXCEL works ten times worse on heavy files than on W10 in conjunction with the 4th generation i5. At the same time, performance can be very high, conditional 100-150 tabs in chrome are not even able to make this device lag. It seems that the code is quickly assembled, not much faster than on I5 / i7, but faster. Plus, the rejection of the cooler is not entirely clear, and the passive system may be enough, but under load the average CPU temperature is around 90-100 degrees, and the case itself starts to heat up, let's say it's not true. And it leads to throttling. In general, the laptop is interesting, revolutionary in many respects. Regarding the choice of pro or air, nevertheless, if the money is not too tight about more interesting, more time, better screen, faster ssd (although this is rather redundant) and normal cooling (which even in its passive version is better implemented) makes sense for overpayments . But again, it all depends on the task. And yes, whoever takes laptops on m1, you should understand that there will never be a full-fledged Windows here. So sometimes you need to have some other computer. The result is a cool laptop? Yes and no right away. Is it worth it to take, xs I generally like it.
