If my birds had a choice they would only fatten seeds and be unhealthy, but because I love my little feathered friends I won't let them. We tried many different types of food to get something they would all eat and enjoy. This is the one. I REALLY often add something else for a change, like dried fruit or extra millet. The balance of nutrients and palatability works well for all of my birds, namely Kennel, Quaker, and Canary (this is a really cool bird if you've never seen them). Remember birds really do need fresh food as a staple - one meal a day should consist of fresh fruit and vegetables. You may want seeds all the time like me, but this ZuPreem product is a great foundation for a healthy diet.
