Getting the first fuse close to the battery has always been a problem. This little device makes it a breeze. It is a sturdy device that can withstand the stress of heavy cables connected to it. The studs are a little long, but that means they're long enough to screw in a few cables and leave room. I also like that there are versions with single and double fuse. I upgrade my cargo trailer and RV with these fuse holders. The elimination of the fuse holder and thus the connection lugs on the wall next to the battery creates order and simplifies the wiring because there is now a direct route to the circuit breaker. The only downside is that most auto repair shops don't stock fuses, so have a spare fuse or two on hand.
