I live in an old brick house in New England and bought this to reduce the strong drafts that get into my outlets. What I loved about the plug and switch combo was that I could just pull out all the pieces I needed for each outlet. Some reviews mention that banging out the right parts can be tricky, but I had no problems with it. Of course, you can make some mistakes when you're in a hurry, but just take your time and the versatility more than makes up for the hassle of breaking through the foam.
