I took the mandrel out of the box. The nut was barely screwed onto the end of the mandrel. Tries to turn. It got stuck in less than one turn. Looked at the thread, looked at the mother. None of them have damaged threads. Looked like the right size. I started measuring. Of course, the mandrel has a metric thread (M8 x 1.25) and the nut is SAE (5/16 x 18). Go to the hardware store to buy the right size nut. Completely unprofessional by Shop Fox. Admit it, they knew the nut was the wrong size when they tried to put it on, but they sent it anyway. I didn't bother removing the wrong nut, tossing it aside and putting in the right one. Probably takes 3 seconds. Instead, I have to spend half an hour trying to find the right part.
