Bad connectors, inverter seems fine.
2000W inverter. Several reviewers commented that the connections would overheat at high amperage. That is most likely true. The alligator clips won't make a good contact with the battery. If ring terminals and the proper gauge wire are used, with the battery sufficiently charged, all should be fine. Tested the inverter with a 600W drill: it did fine.The 12V lighter plug didn't have a fuse, as I usually see. I consider that a hazard.All considered, a good price for a fair product.

- The unit worked two times, and on the second time in use the red and black wires started to melt.
