This adapter was the best tech product I've bought in a long time. For ten years I kept a 160GB Seagate hard drive that I had to replace because it was damaged and no IT staff could access it to try and recover the several hundred images on it. Then I found an inexpensive recovery program that recommended I buy an adapter so I could connect the drive directly to my computer via USB instead of opening the box. Many adapters had mediocre or bad reviews, but this one was very positive. The adapter connected quickly and worked perfectly with the recovery program. Now I have almost all of my long lost photos.
