Both devices sent to me had the same problem and did not provide accurate temperature readings. I suspect these products are trying to take advantage of the Covid pandemic and the need for accurate temperature reading. These are cheap products and not worth buying. This block doesn't work. Period. There were problems with the product, but the company fixed everything. Will update when I get a replacement. So far, so good.
