It works, no problem.
One of my car keys broke and needed a second one to get 2 keys again. Got this one, took it to the locksmith and they cut and programmed it quite well. A month later, still works fine. Just make sure you take all your keys to the locksmith, including the valet key, and have them all reprogrammed. Because if they reprogram one key, they have to reprogram all of them, otherwise you'll have one key that works and the others don't. One more thing. There is no silver Honda "H" logo on this key. It is purely cosmetic and the key works perfectly.
