Review on MagnaFlow 444232 Catalytic Converter Compliant by Drew Diaz
Sleeping at the wheel
Someone at the factory didn't seat this catalytic converter properly in the "ladder" and didn't weld the flanges quite at a 90 degree angle. See photos. The engine block prevents this error from occurring. Two different size gaskets are required for this converter, only one size is supplied. One wrong, one right. The auto shop is still charging me an hour's work for Knucklehead, who fell asleep at the wheel. .This was one of the most expensive catalytic converters on Amazon.
