i have a previous depstech webcam and although the quality of the camera is really high (from the photo it's easy to understand that I need to shave) The sound quality is quite sizzling, making it sound like I have background noise when recording in a quiet environment. If you plan to use a separate microphone device, I'm happy with this product, but the microphone doesn't sound very good, as you can see from my video: I used a webcam for video conferencing and there was no background noise. It can be feedback from my speakers while recording, but when used for video chatting it works well, which is why I've increased the star rating.
