This thing has its own peculiarities, but once you recognize them, everything works. On some of these games, I was able to get to the home screen, but when I pressed the home button, nothing happened. Some games worked, others didn't. Eventually I found out that some games won't run when plugged into a power source. You can just unplug it, press start and plug it back in. Annoying, but it works. I'm not sure why that is, but I found that. The only other minor complaint I have is that there is no battery indicator. There's no way of knowing when it'll be fully charged or how much battery you have left. I left it on the charger for a few hours and then played it on battery power to see how long it would last and overall I'm happy with the battery life. I think he lasted a few hours. You'll know when your battery is low because the screen gets darker and darker, disappearing so far that you can barely see it. I bought it mainly to play Super Mario Bros and Tetris, so haven't played that much with other games yet. For the price I'm happy with what I got. There are many other handheld video games that sell for two to four times the price of this device.
