UPDATE: I had to downgrade this collar because the metal clasp did not close securely. The first time my dog fell off the collar I thought I hadn't fastened it properly. But after that there were 2 more times. At this point the clasp breaks off with little effort and I can no longer confidently use this collar on my dog. The clasp needs to be redone so it can't come loose without unlocking the tabs. First review: I really like this collar. My 65 pound German Shepherd mix broke his previous nylon collar while being tied up to chase a cat he saw across the street. I was looking for a replacement and wanted a sturdy everyday collar with a metal buckle but not bulky and didn't want a heavy chain collar. I read the reviews about it and decided to give it a try. The clasp design is great and makes it easy to put on and take off. It makes a positive click to let you know it's connected. Although I don't think he can break this collar, I bought him a separate chain collar in case I work outside and tie it on in case that cat comes around again.
