Guess I got the wrong advice and figured you should be 2 inches (by waist measurement) above the waist measurement of your belted pants. I wear 34W pants and ordered a 36W inch belt. So if you order this belt and want to make it longer, order two SIZES larger than your pant size, ie if you wear 34" pants, order a 38" belt.
