The cables supplied are very short. When using the drive, I plug cables into the front USB ports on my PC case (Lian Li O11 Dynamic) because I don't want to move my case and reach for it every time I want to use the drive. The cables are so short that the drive needs to face the back of the case, not enough slack to fully rotate the drive so it slides to the front of the case. No big deal, but I mean, come on. There are two cables attached to the case by the way, one USB-A on the back of the drive that goes to my PC's USB-C port, the other is some sort of round power connector on the back of the drive that connects to the USB A port of my PC case. The drive was set to region 2 by default, but I changed it to region 1 and had no problems. I've used this disc to make perfectly legal backups for archival purposes only, so they can't be transferred, sold, or distributed without express permission, and it does the job perfectly. I think it's a bit slower than my internal ASUS Blu-Ray drive, but I expected it and don't really care. I would say it's worth the money. I also like that it's slim and doesn't have a big power adapter or outlet, it's just two cords that plug into your PC or laptop, making it easy to carry around in a laptop bag, for example.
