Review on Traeger Fire Burn Pot Hot Rod Igniter Kit - Replacement Grills Parts Compatible With Pit Boss And Traeger Wood Pellet Grill 111 by Jim Polacek

auger hole cut in too low

Replacement went smoothly. We screwed it down to the grill. We turned it on, and the pellet auger would not rotate. We removed the 2 screws closest to the hopper and it would turn. I'm assuming the auger hole into the Fire Burn Pot was cut in too low. When completely installed, the auger would be pulled down and bind up the auger so it couldn't rotate. Removing the two screes allowed the Fire Burn Pot to raise on that side and release the pressure on the auger casing.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Used once and never worked again!
