I must confess I have kind of a fetish for kitchen knives. I have to own several on different shapes, sizes, blades, handles, etc. When I saw this knife, I could resist. Maybe I need to seek professional help but for now I will stick to my reviewA short bladed, big handle marvel, this knife is very versatile, ideal for but not limited to fruits and veggies as the product page says. It also super-sharp. I have used it to cut very thinly slices of dry liver for example, and I don't lie when I say they ended up being paper thin and in perfect shape. Don't worry if you have big hands, small hands, medium hands, etc., the handle will fit you like a glove and adding the perfect weight, it will give you outstanding control over your work. You can be very fast if it needed to be and still be very preciseI commend the use of cardboard for the packing instead of plastic, although I resented the rubberish #6 Styrofoam inside to protect the knife. Some high quality hard cardboard would have also done the job. As many other knives at this price point, the case is not designed to last and the blade is not protected with a permanent sleeve for exampleAlso the steel on the blade have a tendency to form dry spots, somewhat hard to clean once they are set so make sure you dry the knife after washing it. But even then I got a couple of stubborn ones which I took care of with a little of mineral oil but this suggest the chromium coating on the stainless steel might not be the best quality. But at this price point this is not a concern, at all
