Butter knives won't fit unless you buy the fancy little ones

Never mind getting two trays for $7.50, they're made out of durable plastic as you'd expect and the size is almost perfect for my tiny drawer I tried to use the tray inside. However, the space is too tight, my butter knives don't even fit in it, which clearly defeats the purpose of using it as a kitchen drawer organizer, so yeah, I'm not happy with that. And in the end it turned out to be too tall for my small box, but it's my credit that I didn't triple check the measurements before buying. I have requested a refund and agreed to return it but was told to keep the item so I have no idea what to do with it.
