This HTI-19 thermal imaging camera has proven itself. It covers a wide range of temperatures and works well. I also wanted to photograph the PCB components, but the lens only focuses up to 1.5ft. For macro photography I added a 20mm lens, FL 50.8mm, ZnSe. This is available from Revain and allows the camera to focus to 2 inches. To mount the macro lens, I replaced the stock lens cap with my own 3D printed macro lens cap/mount. Now it works for both general viewing from a distance and close-up viewing. My macro lens holder can be found on Thingiverse as a BunnyScience project. /B07B8XX1JLVere satisfied with the purchase. The only issue was that the micro USB port was inserted so far that most of my ports didn't reach it. I had to cut the plastic off the micro use cable connectors to mount the camera. Otherwise it worked great. There is no video or thermal data in the images, but I can do whatever I want with the JPEG output.
