OHHH THE STRETCH! Who knew how one could perfect a sock to feel amazing. bc, in the end- I think most (ok, at least I do!) go by the philosophy- it’s just a sock!? Something you must spend $ on but, don’t get a lot of frills for your buck! Well, I found out that isn’t alway the case. and this sock IS the proof!I’m in a constant battle to find a stretchable sock that doesn’t create a fight to get on. I realize, not all share the struggle to put on a sock unless, you’re like my teenage son who has size 13 foot. (Yes, I do buy socks according to his shoe size.) Yet, a sock is either slim/tight or, the total opposite and a large/loose fit- becoming useless, losing all the support needed to stay in place and most of all, becomes a nuisance all day long! Ahh-hmm. with this purchase- I’ve struck the mother load!A few years back. I took notice, socks got crazy by adding the support thru the middle of foot/arch area- and boom! It was like manna from heaven and proved effective with added comfort in such a positive way. Raising the question- why couldn’t the same creature comforts be applied to the heal and up into the calf? Well, ask no more- This sock seems to provide the universal compression one could only hope for. All in a stretchable way to get it on without a fight.This sock has a smooth soft finish to the material creating a slide/glide ability when putting it on. It has been created with plenty of compression, support and reinforcement in arch heel and calf by the simple attention to detail. these worked so well, I kept the sock wrapper/label so when buying socks online or in person- I could mimic the purchase. trust me, I can honestly say I’ve never done that before!This sock provides the all day wearability of staying in place and when removing. there is only the small expected imprint of where the sock line was. I see zero signs of swelling in the ankle or water line that is sometimes found with removal of some compression socks. After washing/drying a few times- we haven’t had issue with shrinking. if anything, my son tends to "stretch them off” when removing. and once washed, these regain their composure nicely!Love these and will be in the market for more, I can promise you that! Definitely a great find and worth ordering.
