Review on ETCH Finger Buckets Climbing Hold Outdoor Recreation by Michael Syph

Revainrating 2 out of 5

this is my least favorite set. The shape of the handles is beautiful.

Of the 5 etch holder sets I own, this is my least favorite set. The shape of the grips is quite sharp and most climbers will find them painful in all but the steepest of turns. Luckily, they're good enough to be used on very steep walls and roofs, although you'll only fit about a pillow and a half in the cargo area. Good for moderate to difficult roofing problems. The grip profile promotes thumb pinching. The texture is a bit rough, but that's not a big deal - it's easier to sandpaper down a rough texture when needed than to add texture to a surface that's too smooth. Durability is solid. There are generally better buckets on the market.

Cons
