This review is for the Everlast Advanced Everhide Speed Bag. 9x6 First, the picture shown is not the bag you will receive. I did not receive the thick bum bag shown in the photo, but a banana bag. Everlast has probably changed the design over the years, but you really should show a recent photo that fully reflects what you're getting. Appearance: Apart from the shape, this is a futuristic bag as it is not made of leather. It's not bad but I like leather and to me a bag made out of quality leather looks better than even a carbon pattern bag. Some might like something like that, but in my opinion the skin looks much better. Material: This synthetic material is not leather. Some might like it, but only time will tell if it will last as long as a quality leather case. Regarding the material that slows down the bag, I feel this bag performs similarly to Everlast leather bags. I will report if premature cracks or other material failures occur. Specifications: As previously mentioned, this case works similarly to Everlast leather cases. This is a banana bag, like all Everlast modern speedbags except the MX. He doesn't have the big belly of old satchels and that makes him look rather long. It can still be a fast bag when inflated and hit hard. I don't see any material stopping him from speeding. Overall: I rarely, if ever, end up in this bag. I have much better speedbags from other manufacturers and like the Everlast leather versions more when I'm in the mood to hit a banana bag. If you only have 1 or 2 speedbags I would choose something else.
