Baby and toddler clothing really needs to be stretchy enough to allow room for growth. I was really shocked to find out that these pants are actually not that stretchy. Very little stretch from side to side or top to bottom. For your child, this means minimal comfort. If your baby/kids clothes don't have a lot of stretch, I think you need to save money and put it to other uses. Combined with the lack of stretch, these pants are made from 78% cotton. French terry fabric. If you forget to wash them in cold water, the lack of elasticity will be worse. I like the Splendid brand in general, but I cannot recommend these pants to you!=============================== == ============================================= ===== ==THIS PART OF THE REVIEW IS FOR THE DUSTY OLIVE CAMOUFLAGE PANTS: I give these pants 5 stars and here's why: Unlike the terry pants I reviewed previously, these olive colored pants are very soft and have a lot of stretch. An inch of fabric can easily stretch horizontally to 2 inches or more. They stretch vertically, but only slightly. The jersey is 52% cotton, 39% modal and 9% elastane. It is soft like a baby's skin. These pants are easy care: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. The pant has about 1 inch of extra room at the seat for comfort and slight flex. The product is very well made. All seams (every two) are sewn with four threads - two of them are pair of stitches and two threads are overcasting. These camouflage pants can be worn by both boys and girls in my opinion. I highly recommend it!
