They are larger than I expected but not so much that they look weird. I ordered the color red and it's almost perfect for my bike (2018 SV650 red and black ABS paint). It was very easy to install. A couple of steel washers were included, but they seemed capable of scratching the frame paint if tightened enough. I used a nylon washer instead, but it's obviously up to you. I tested them on my pen stand and they worked great. I would recommend using a cloth or other protective barrier between the spools and the lift arms. Otherwise the lacquered coils will quickly scratch/scratch.
