I was really blown away by this little silver and crystal fox necklace; I was expecting it to look boring compared to the renders in the preview images, but it's actually pretty close to what's shown. Overall, the complete pendant measures just 3/4" x 1", making it a dainty accessory. This necklace also comes in a very pretty clamshell box with a special small velvet pouch for safekeeping and a polishing cloth with care/maintenance instructions safely tucked under the velvet cushion. an intricate method of making a patchwork of flowers shine in the light; This piece really looks best when lit or worn in a well-lit area. My particular fox is a little greener/navy than the blue in the photo, but the purple tones are rendered correctly and the sheen and variety of colors is really fun in person. The tiny purple crystals along the fox's head also sparkle despite being so small. The silver parts of this pendant are smooth and clean, although I find that the faux enamel in the eyes looks a little "off" compared to the rest of the necklace. Please note that as stated in the description it is not silver but a rhodium plated alloy; If you or the person for whom you are purchasing this product are very sensitive to metals, be aware that the alloy may contain traces of metals which may cause a reaction if the plating flakes off. I personally had no reaction when wearing it. All in all I might find the price a bit steep for this small piece as it is not real silver but I cannot deny the beauty of its shine. Swarovski products tend to be a bit pricey, and that's actually because that shine is second to none.
