Maybe I'm doing it wrong or just not used to the grid. I bought this set to use on my pen lathe and other projects. The grid loses size and sharpness very quickly. I went with the mess thinking dust wouldn't collect, but especially with more exotic woods that have higher oil content and are very dense, dust will still collect. Take my experience for what it is, but a piece of sandpaper should last more than about 10 seconds of sanding.
