I was looking for an expansion port for my iPad Pro with two USB-C ports and this one turned out to be a winner exposed. I have a few external drives that connect via USB C and I'm tired of using USB C to USB A converters to connect to my hubs. This opens the door to allow both my USB-C power supply and an external USB-C drive to be connected. A USB-C port is for charging only. All ports are clearly marked. There are two detachable mounts that are used when using the bare iPad and hold it very well. In the video I'm using a Pitaka case on my iPad and had to remove those brackets. A small blue LED that lights up when you connect lets you know that a connection has been established with the source device. the port parameters it provides in such a small size. This is a lighter gray than the gray used on the Apple trackpad, for example. I wish it came with some sort of small storage case, but I can't get everything. Satisfied and recommended.
