Works great - great customer service

Updated overview. Shortly after I posted my review below, Anker reached out to me directly to help troubleshoot. They ended up sending me another hub to try. The new hub didn't have any power output issues like my previous one and I can get HDMI 2.0 output. Thanks anchor! For example: + I appreciate the build quality + Comes with a nice case + Has all the ports I need + Connected it to my laptop and it worked fine. Cons: - Says it supports up to 100W. I will buy these for my customers!

Great mini docking station. It features USB-C PD power pass-through, HDMI video, 2x USB-A, 1x USB-C (data only). Leave it on your desk and you only need to connect one device to get started. I really like that it has a USB-C data port, so you get a connector that's especially important for 2-port MacBooks. Other similar devices usually have Ethernet instead of this port. However, using Ethernet on a laptop can be problematic if you "pick up and go" to meetings during the day - your connection…

Possibly good quality, but poor choice for Surface Pro 7 (updated review)

In response to my first review below, the manufacturer assured me that this "upgraded" model, despite having the same product number and the wrong manual, has maximum performance of 15 watts versus the 20 watts of the original product. I don't have USB-C enabled power meters and haven't been able to test this, so I can only trust they didn't send me an older model. Aside from the power typo, my review was negatively impacted by the following reasons: 1) This hub is only good for laptops/devices

May have wrecked my MacBook

I have a 2019 16" Macbook Pro that costs $5,000 after tax (64GB RAM, 2TB, max CPU). This MacBook was in the repair shop for two months. After purchase, all ports cannot be powered, and therefore the computer is discharged and unusable. Repairs are covered by AppleCare, but imagine - third-party data recovery isn't covered by AppleCare (Apple says they care too much about privacy to offer this service -_-).
