Updated overview. Shortly after I posted my review below, Anker reached out to me directly to help troubleshoot. They ended up sending me another hub to try. The new hub didn't have any power output issues like my previous one and I can get HDMI 2.0 output. Thanks anchor! For example: + I appreciate the build quality + Comes with a nice case + Has all the ports I need + Connected it to my laptop and it worked fine. Cons: - Says it supports up to 100W. Not sure if I had a defect but it wasn't more than 60-65W - HDMI Display on Mac is 2.0 but it lowers the refresh rate to only support 50Hz (this issue doesn't exist on the PC but it only goes up to 60Hz on my display is 144Hz) Will be returning this and looking for another adapter. Previously mostly lucky with Anker, not this time.
