A good surge protector, especially when it's wired that way and depends on the technology. The blue indicator does not go out, this also indicates that the surge protection is working and ensures that the electronics are protected or similar. It doesn't bother me as the surge protector hides behind some things, but I can imagine it might bother someone who is sensitive to light in a dark room. It's not bright enough to be a night light, but in a dark room could it be like a beacon or something? The bottom line is that he does what he has to do. I didn't have any power surges and didn't have to claim a warranty but from what I've seen it was mainly used as an extension for a couple of sockets and it's great!
