Review on ASICS GT 2000 Thunder French Men's Athletic Running Shoes by Robert Johnson

After more than 30 years of "relationship" with Asics as my favorite sneaker brand, I've stopped buying this brand forever. I've literally tried THREE different Asics shoes, NONE fits properly. The last one, GT-2000 10, was given to me for Christmas. However, they are marked as "wide" both on the box and in the shoe. like two other recent pairs from Asics (also "wide" width), they are TOO tight. They fit like regular narrow width shoes used many years ago. Compared to my venerable pair of Asics, now who's 5? For years all new Asics are obviously made in an effort to save on materials, use as little as possible and still sell them as quality shoes. Goodbye Asics! *Pictured is the GT2000 from above, perfectly matched to my old wide width ASICS running shoes. You can CLEARLY see how slim the GT-2000 is.
