Review on 🍳 Silver MIU France 10-Piece Cookware Set with Copper Core by Nicholas Erickson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

wasn't great as i found after about 10 months of use

initial review: i checked the manufacturer's website and it seemed to me that everything was covered in copper as was the copper around. I don't think there is copper on the sides just for their use but I'm happy with the set for the price. I really didn't want to spend money on an entire costumed set. What annoys me about sets is that there are usually items that you don't need and sometimes there are a few items that you can't find individually that you have to buy a set. That being said, I didn't really think I needed more non-stick pans, but now I only use the ones in this set due to the very even bottom heat. All parts feel very heavy and have even bottom heat, but the sides of the pots aren't as thick as I'd like. Metal lids should be handled with insulated gloves or a kitchen towel as they get very hot. Non-stick pans have deeply sloped sides. Cleaning isn't a problem, but I've found that the underside can be cleaned up a bit if you want it to shine like new. I don't mind if they are a little scratched. So far I've been using it very regularly for 2 months with no problems. Second review: After about 10 months of use, I had to discard the small non-stick pan due to the coating peeling off. The bigger one should probably work too. I use non-scratch cookware, so I didn't have any scratches in the pan, just small bits that came off. It looked like dots on the bottom of the pan, just small dots of missing coating. I do not use these pans on high heat. I usually cook in a skillet over medium heat most of the time, but sometimes I'll light something up at the end of cooking and turn to medium heat for about a minute. The rest of the pots and pans hold up well I think. There is a blackout on the bottom but I can't understand what from. Now I would give the set 2 stars. The heavy base is made for even cooking, but lacks the power for those who cook regularly.
