I love the spoons. The ends are so soft and bend easily. Now I don't have to worry about my baby snatching the spoon out of my hand while feeding and they are also soft on his gums that he likes to eat solids. He likes to eat with these spoons. Also, these spoons are small enough for his small mouth, which helped him learn to take food from a spoon pretty quickly. The only complaint is that the spoons get dirty from some foods. However, I'm only giving these spoons 5 stars because food-grade silicone tends to stain foods high in B-carotene. You already pointed this out and I bought these spoons knowing they would stain these foods. They color as expected but I'm still happy because I have 6 sets of spoons and only use 2 of them with high B-carotene products and use the rest for other products. I'm glad I was able to get 6 scoops for that price, plus a travel kit/box to easily carry the scoops in my diaper bag.
