Firstly, please note that when you purchase this product, you will receive a blank SSD. It does not come with a supporting connection or imaging cable. If this is important to you, for example if you are using an SSD to replace your current hard drive to speed up your existing computer, you will need to purchase an adapter cable at the same time as purchasing this device. I used this device to image an old tower computer and replace it with an existing hard drive. This greatly speeded up the computer's boot time. I shouldn't say boot time, the computer is running now. It used to be very slow and didn't work at all. I removed the system from an old hard drive and used it as a storage device. My tower computer is operational again. I am happy with the Movespeed SSD 512GB and would recommend it to anyone looking to use it for a similar purpose.
