I bought these to attach charms to a charm bracelet. I figured they would be safer than using jump rings. I was right. They're so small that it's difficult to work with them and attach them to a bracelet and then attach charms to them, but the added security is worth the effort for expensive sterling silver charms. I think they are also great for attaching delicate pendants to a chain or beads. My suggestions for using this product? Don't use them the day after trimming your nails as slightly long nails really help open them wide enough to fit charms and bracelet links (or whatever you use them for). Work with them against a dark background in a well-lit area (such as a piece of dark fabric under a lamp) so you can see them clearly. And don't be discouraged if it takes you a while to learn how to use them. It took a while but now I'm sure I can use them. And if someone with thick, clumsy fingers like me can learn how to use them, anyone can.
