I bought these for my upcoming wedding and wanted to make sure they lasted at least 5-6 hours at the event. I didn't have high expectations considering the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by their durability. All batteries are protected by a piece of plastic that you pull out and then turn on. I ran one of them for a full 24 hours and it was still running before I decided to turn it off. What I thought was something I could only use for one wedding turned out to be something I could continue to use for multiple events (parties, Halloween, Christmas, etc.). This is a bargain and you don't have to worry about overheating with LED lights. I definitely recommend them.
