For my 2010 Yaris S liftback. They look good, good plastic, but they aren't as good and waterproof as the original. After work with a locksmith who came home to do some programming work. The remote chip for this car has 2 codes with different frequencies: - 1 for the door locks, programmed through a sequence of actions with the door, the key or the scanner. (The frequency of the remote control is not compatible with my car.) - 1 for the ignition switch, programmed by the scanner. (Remote frequency is compatible with my car). So I can only start the engine with the purchased remote controls, but not open the doors. I solved my problem with a locksmith who sold me a chip with both correct frequencies and used a framed key but threw away the chip. Unfortunately, the frequency of the original key can be checked using a locksmith's special tool. . He told me that he saw on the Yaris sold in the US that the frequencies for the door were different. So: - Make sure the transmitter has both correct frequencies. - I suggest contacting remotesremotes.com (supplier of this Revain item) to find out how to check if the items are compatible with your vehicle on both frequencies. I am disappointed when I wrote to them and gave them my car's VIN number and they told me the remote controls would work fine. I insisted that they explain the idea of key programming so they know what to expect to start key making and know what to expect from the programming but they just told me that the key of a Locksmith would be programmed with a scanner. I may have returned the remotes to try and get the correct ones but for me from Costa Rica it would take time and complexity and I would be unsure if they have the correct chips.
