I have so many tape measures. I have a yellow, red, silver and even a fancy left/right reading tape measure for professional carpenters. For me, 16 feet is the perfect height. It's light, easy to carry, and on the rare occasions when I actually need to measure a little longer, I use a Bosch rangefinder. So I don't care about some of the features that you might like. I don't care about getting noticed. I usually measure woodwork, things like cabinets, boxes, pole cut length, table saw setup, etc. For me, the crazy color scheme makes it so easy I can always read it, even when I'm under the sink. or any other place with poor lighting. So yeah, I always tackle that first and have sprinkled the rest of the house with other brands for my family to use in place of my favorite brand.
