Wife: what a beauty! I'm so happy with this chandelier - it's bright with four lights (compared to the two I've worked with before), stylish and quite large and sturdy than I expected. Husband: It was standard electrical wiring. I was able to install it myself but have experience installing lighting fixtures in our home. You may need a second person to help you set it up, especially if you are on a ladder. The assembly with the supplied instructions was feasible, but not very easy to interpret. I had to use my own judgment, but it wasn't difficult. Lightbulbs were not included - I needed 4 chandeliers/candles. The included ceiling mount cover was too small; If it was an inch taller it would have easily covered the hole in the ceiling. The length of the chain could be adjusted - I needed at least two household tools, such as B. Wrench to bend the links. You can shorten the chain and wire to your liking, but note that once you cut the wire there is obviously no going back, so make sure you start longer and then cut to your liking. Overall it looks great and I'm glad I only needed a few basic tools to install it like electric wire cutters, screwdrivers and wrenches.
