Review on 🧼 Multi-functional Oenophilia Decanter Cleaning Brush: Flexible Scourer for Glassware and Narrow Neck Wine Decanters by Tara Taylor

I'm torn on how to rate this brush. Basically, I like the smaller version of the brush I use for wine glasses. However, remember that these brushes are like dishcloths and need to be thoroughly disinfected on a regular basis. This particular brush was recommended for a wine decanter I ordered and seemed like a good idea - at least until it arrived and the brush head went into the opening of the decanter. I figured it would fit in the carafe with the end of the brush unfolded. The problem is that there are two heavy twisted wires going through the brush and it took a very large pair of pliers and quite a bit of force to straighten the end of the brush. The new straight brush presented a new problem: two very heavy and sharp wires protruding from the end of the sleeve which could scratch the carafe. This brush SHOULD NOT be listed in the carafe I purchased. However, this will likely work with a wide-mouth carafe. It wasn't worth sending back and I threw away the one I bought.
