I bought this phone about 13 months ago and have been happy with it until recently. I haven't had any issues (so far) with the battery charging or the screen turning off and restarting. But about a week ago, in the middle of a conversation (or a call at work), the sound from the headphones started to fade, so I could barely hear the caller. You must have heard me well. I have had two other Panasonic phones and they both worked great - I was very happy with their performance. I think I've had them for about 6-7 years each and the battery wouldn't hold a charge, but the phone worked most of the time. I believe that nowadays everything from household appliances to electronics is made like absolute garbage! This is how companies make money - by buying cheap crap from China that breaks down after a short time. I think no matter what brand you buy you will inevitably buy junk. I don't even know which phone to buy because in about a year I'll come back here to buy another one. waste of money.
