Good day to all! In a previous review about Gamma Iris yarn, she said that she was fond of crocheting, namely, hair ties. I started with openwork, then I wanted to try more and began to try to knit flowers, and leaves for them ... And more and more I needed a color scheme. Yarn Kamteks "Dandy" was chosen according to the criteria - color, 100% cotton, thread thickness. Around the skein there is a label with information from the manufacturer. On the front side, the name and indicates that it was made in Spain by order. Made from 100% mercerized long staple cotton. Weight - 50 grams, length - 330 meters. Made according to TU... I didn’t understand where, in Spain or in Russia, because on the label one thing is written in one place in another place in another way. Perhaps the manufacturer meant that the base of the yarn is made in Spain, and the thread itself is made in Russia. The icons indicate the conditions for using yarn and caring for it. I only have three colors of this yarn. Green. Champagne. Blue. I knitted only from green and blue (and even then I never collected a flower for an elastic band). I needed a green thread for leaves for flowers. Here is one of them. I really liked the yarn in my work - it is soft, the thread does not crumble, the thickness is the same along the entire length, it does not slip in my hands. In general, knitting with such a pleasure. And another very important factor - the finished product does not twist. What I don't really like is hiding the thread at the end of the work. Since many threads begin to split. I didn't have any problems with this yarn. I managed to hide it quickly and neatly. This is the very first rubber band I knitted with a flower. Two leaves are made of "Dandy" yarn and sewn to the rose. As you can see in the photo, the sheets hold their shape perfectly. The rose itself is knitted from a different yarn, to be honest, I don’t even remember which one, it was bought from me a long time ago. Here is another rose in a different pattern. I found it on the Internet, it was said about it that it was Turkish technology, but there I don’t know if it’s true or not. The video showed how to tie just a rosette, without additional decorations. She looked beautiful to me, but something was missing. Then she herself thought of decorating the middle with beads and sewing leaves on the side. And the rose, in my opinion, played. Then there was such a simple but pretty rose, and again the leaves fell "to the yard." The more I knitted, the more my imagination appeared :) And once on the Internet I saw a master class on how to tie a cup to a rose. And again she could not get enough of the Dendy yarn. Here is a cup I managed to knit easily. I inserted a "tail” from a rose into the "hole” of the cup and tightened the thread, then sewed it to the flower in a circle with the same yarn. And here's what I got. Another similar rose, only in white. In general, I really like the yarn. Nice to work with this one. I bought it for 81 rubles.
