I have been knitting for a long time, so I often buy different yarns. Today I want to tell you about the cheapest hand knitting threads that I have come across. This is Kabardian acrylic yarn, which is sold here both in needlework stores and on the market. This yarn has many beautiful colors and shades, the choice is large, and the colors are mostly pleasant, there are bright, saturated ones, there are also calmer ones. Just the other day I bought a couple of skeins of such a pleasant rich turquoise color. I bought it on the market, the price of one skein is 30 rubles, it weighs about 50 grams. These threads are 100% acrylic. However, they do not look like pure synthetics, they are slightly fluffy, soft, pleasant to the touch. The yarn is quite dense, when knitting I usually use needles number 4. The threads knit easily, with such a thickness the yarn is not twisted. They lie flat in the product, they look great and even canvas, and various harnesses. Over the years, I knitted many things from these threads, for example, a thick voluminous sweater, which nevertheless fits perfectly on the figure. Here's a closer drawing. I really like this color, in fact, I bought the threads precisely because of the color. And I knitted these leggings quite recently. These threads are sold both in skeins and in skeins. For such a price, I have no complaints about them, Iโll just note for information that the thickness of the threads in different batches may vary slightly, the same applies to shades. Somehow I needed to buy one skein, I never managed to buy exactly the same. These products tolerate washing perfectly, I wash them by hand with ordinary powder. They do not stretch, do not shrink, of course, if they are dried properly, they do not lose color. The only drawback does not even apply to the yarn itself, but to the manufacturer. It would be nice to make normal labels for this product with the composition, exact weight, thread length and other information. And they are sold without any identification marks. From experience I can say that in a skein of 50 grams of yarn about 100-130 meters. Probably, for those who knit, there is no need to recommend these threads, they know them very well. But I can safely advise beginner knitters, these threads are suitable for learning, as well as for knitting both simple products (socks, scarves), and more complex ones. They can be knitted and crocheted, but personally I prefer knitting needles in this case. Although I saw interesting shawls crocheted from these threads. I will say a few more words about acrylic. It is an artificial yarn created as a substitute for wool. Soft, does not irritate the skin and does not cause allergic reactions.
