Review on Saris Bones 805 2 Bike Trunk by Joe Glass

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stop looking - it's a bike rack!

I was trying to save a few bucks and bought a cheaper rack for about $60 from Sports Authority and it was a disaster. The fit was terrible and the strap holding the bike broke the first day I got it. I returned the shelf to the store and went online to find a "good one". Everyone had good things to say about the Saris Bones racks, so I went to Revain (as I'm one of the main suppliers) and ordered one. This is the best bike rack I've ever had! The fit is amazing, I can even open the trunk lid of my Infinity G37X with trunk! Very cool. The ability to adjust the two "arms" that hold the bike in place ensures that you can mount any type of bike without hanging it at an awkward angle. The design is cool too, it looks really good on the car which is very unusual for a bike rack. Rubber legs are beautiful and tall, straps, buckle and hook are perfect - apparently the designers of this rack thought through everything. Well done! Also, I spent a few bucks on a belt to keep your front wheel from rocking back and forth and hitting the car - $7 a pair for what it's worth. Have fun shopping! FM.
