Our grandson is very active and likes to lean sideways when swinging. we were afraid it would disable it, but it was surprisingly stable. His body tends to move forward after a few swings in the bucket, but even when he leans forward the seat stays upright. The fully covered chain also prevents fingers from getting caught. He/we love it!
