January 2015 update: I'm still happy with this product, but found the stylus (the one on the aeration rod) to keep the mount from sliding sideways as I rotate over time. The weight of my phone seems too much and although the mount itself doesn't move, the clip gradually slides over the vent bar. It's ok but I don't know how to avoid irritation so I'm deducting a star from my original rating. I'm still keeping Koomus because I don't think there's a better option. Original post: I decided to purchase this Koomus because it's illegal in my state to use the phone's GPS app if it doesn't have it installed. Use it with my iPhone 5 in my 2013 Honda Civic coupe mounted on the highest pole of my air vent to the right of the steering wheel. No problem attaching the phone or moving the mount without my prompting. Everything stays in place. Looks strong enough to serve my purpose and last a while. Keep in mind that the phone does impede airflow through the vent it's attached to, but that's not the fault of the design of the product itself. I chose this because I didn't want to risk a bad fit with mounts that fit in a CD player, anything with a flexible gooseneck, and I've always had issues with products that need suction (usually loses grip when cold/warm/overheating).
