I've been looking for a phone mount for a long time and decided on this one. After receiving the item and installing it in one of my vents, I found that due to the vent moving, the mount would not hold tight - it would move up and down with the adjustable vent. To fix this problem I installed the mounting clip on the bottom vent where it could use the base of the vent as a support. And boom! It worked.
