Review on πŸ“± Black Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for iPhone & Android - Koomus Air Vent Device Mount with Retail Packaging by Joe Bottomkent

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Check the distance between vertical vents, strong phone mount with vents

Advantages: - solid construction - clamping spring and design are easy to use and hold the phone securely - when the device is firmly inserted into the vents, it is a fairly secure mount (this requires some fiddling and may not be possible with all vents) - looks nice (clean looks) Cons: - snaps onto a horizontal vent, make sure your vent is solidly built - articulation of the cradle is much more limited. It has a friction ball hinge, but adjustment angle is limited - make sure your vertical vents (behind the horizontal ones) are at least 3/4 inch apart. If they are too close together, the friction clamp will only move. Due to the length of your horizontal air vents, the mount isn't as secure - the clip spring is strong enough to depress the volume or function buttons (not really a con, but be careful where you place your phone). I have listed more cons than pros but I really like this car mount. It looks great and holds the phone securely while being easy to place/remove. could be improved to make it more versatile but it works on my machine. Please note that it only attaches to horizontal air vents and due to the weight of the stand and phone will result in your air vent facing down. Phones tested: HTC One M8 and iPhone 5/6 (all with cases) Vehicle: BMW 3 Series
